Most Advanced Vertical Slurry Pumps
An industrial pump is a device that carries liquids (liquids or gases), or sometimes slurries, by mechanical action. Considered an engineering achievement, the pumps are specifically designed to withstand some of the most complex services by providing reliable and efficient selection.
At Sujal Pumps, we provide complete solutions for pumping various types of industries in some of the rough and remote areas. Our pumps are effective in sump conditions, and can be easily used for drainage or other floating pump platforms.
Mud pumps are a heavy and sturdy version of central pumps, capable of handling heavy and explosive operations. There are two main types of pumps used to pump mud:
- Slurry pumps horizontally
- Vertical slurry pumps
horizontally Slurry pumps
Horizontal mud pumps are often called dry pumps because the hydraulic end and the drive unit are located outside the sump. It is the most common type as it is found in a variety of head and flow conditions as well as material options. It can be used in industries where there is a risk of flooding.
Vertical slurry pumps
The Vertical Slurry Pump can be divided into two main groups:
- Tank pumps
- Cantilever sump pumps
Tank pumps are considered dry installed pumps. The sump is fitted with a pump and a straight inlet prevents air blockage and provides good performance. There are no immersed bearings or shaft stamps, but too much shaft is an overhang from the low bearing to the impeller.
Cantilever sump pumps are considered semi-dry installed, as the hydraulic finish is lowered to the slurry, but the drive unit and the dry support structure are installed. Like tank pumps, there are no bottom bearings or shaft seals, but a long shaft overhang. These types of pumps are fitted with a base plate over the sump.
Structural Features of Vertical Slurry Pumps
